Claim is the first installment in the Violent Delights trilogy. Told from dual perspectives it follows the beautiful fashion icon and wild child Sophia Morelli and the very private billionaire architect, Damon Price, the dangerous Dom. The story is located in New York around the fashion industry and in the private walls of New York's exclusive BDSM club Violent Delights owned by Sophia's volatile and protective brother, Lucian Morelli.

Trouble seems to find Sophia Morelli. The best way to show more handle the slut shaming and hateful naysayers is to pretend they do not exist. They have no clue what it is like to be her. Because of a predator in fashion when she was starting out, she lost face with the world and she built walls letting others believe what they wanted about her. She has lost her balance, her soul, and her next move will change her life forever. Her mission to live in the moment at her brother's sex club puts her in the sights of the mysterious and dangerous Damon Price. It appears his questionable past relationship with his last submissive ended with a death and though Sophia was warned, she couldn't fight the pull to this sensual and powerful man. Will she be able to walk away from finally feeling seen for herself or will she lose the control she fought so hard to obtain?

Damon Price has always kept his private life private. Until Sophia walked into the club and he couldn't keep his hands off of her. He warns her of his selfish need to make her completely submit to him, but she refuses to let go. No one has ever said no to him before and he doesn't particularly like spoiled brats like her, but he recognizes the innocence and loneliness under her public façade and craves to keep her. The guilt he carries from Maria's death is strong and he fights his obsession with Sophia by pushing her away. But he requires her like the air he breathes and cannot resist her pull. Will he set her free or destroy her spirit?

I love the fact that Sophia is very strong and self-assured about the kind of woman she doesn't want to be. Namely, her mother who caters to her brutal and unforgiving father. She is fair and kind to the few who have her back. She is not afraid to break the rules which is sometimes a good thing until her escapade to take revenge on the asshole who started her social ruin. Enter Damon who would kill anyone who touches her. Unfortunately, his interference makes everything worse for her reputation earning him the wrath of her brother and his good friend, Lucian. While protecting her, he is called out in a very public arena as a murderer and I adored how Sophia used compassion and understanding to calm the accuser and get him removed while having Damon's back in a volatile situation. Damon is so screwed when he meets the woman who will change his life. He's so intense and demanding inside and outside of the club and Sophia is a great match with her bratty challenges and passionate responses. Ya think Sophia has walls built around her? Well, Damon has fortresses. He shows his love for Sophia in many ways by saving her from herself and trying to save her from him. Of course, in a trilogy you normally have cliffhangers and there is a doozy on this one. Let's just say Sophia may be in over her head this time.

If you love broody, alpha Doms, strong and sassy women, and a surprising murder mystery, give this book a chance. I can't wait for book 2.

Thank you to Ms.Snow for giving me the opportunity to read this book with no expectation of a positive review.

Sienna Snow's latest foray into the dark and intoxicating world of mafia romance has left an indelible mark with its MMF storyline featuring Nerine, a fiercely independent heroine trapped in an unwanted marriage, and her complex protectors, Theo and Xander. This book masterfully intertwines themes of betrayal, redemption, and the intricacies of love in the underbelly of organized crime. The emotional depth, sizzling scenes, and gripping plot make it impossible to put down, though the show more cliffhanger ending left me craving more. Snow's skill in crafting multifaceted characters and a story that balances suspense, steam, and a dash of humor has made this an unforgettable read, especially for readers of dark and spicy romances. show less
This collection of stories was a much-appreciated treat that I didn't even know that I wanted let alone needed. Each time I either saw the Easter egg mention of Morelli/Constantine connection or was reintroduced to old favorites from past stories I was giddy. The undertaking of creating this dynamic Midnight Dynasty world is quite awe-inspiring. Every story and connection is seamlessly done and I cannot get enough of it.

There were some stories that were mentioned that had me looking forward show more to when they get a full story set in this world such as Skye Warren's Hallelujah and Alta Hensley's Silver Bells. There were others that were just loosely associated with the world but that made me instantly want to go read more about these characters such as Sienna Snow's Silent Night (good lord is Simon HOT), Maria Luis's Carol of the Bells, and Jenika Snow's It Came Upon a Midnight Clear. Of course, there were also old fan favorites that dived back into the world that they helped create; Away in the Manager by Jade West that took me back into the world of Lucian and Elaine ( Lucian is a dirty dirty delicious man), Little Drummer Boy by M. O'Keefe that reintroduced Poppy's sister, and O Come All Ye Faithful by Amelia Wilde that reminded me why Leo and Haley are a dream team of a couple.

I will have more individual reviews at a later time when my eyes are not being held open by toothpicks since I stayed up way too late to finish this fantastic collection of stories.

O Holy Night by Pam Godwin
Sweet lord. The original story with Tinsley and Magnus was one of my favorite books of 2021. I didn't think that it could get much hotter. I was wrong. So very wrong. These characters are delicious. I loved seeing how their chemistry is still intense. I loved seeing the cameos of other characters, especially Lucian and Elaine. That ending... just going to say it was HOT.

Baby, It’s Cold Outside By Giana Darling

Sweet holy hell. This is like Christmas in July. Combining Elena and Dante with a new character, Tiernan from the Midnight Dynasty world is like a Festivus for the rest of us. It was as if Elena and Dante should have been a part of this world all along, or as if Tiernan had been a part of the Lombardi world. That takes some skill to be able to do that.

The sneak peek into how Elena and Dante are doing in the future was EVERYTHING because I will never tire of seeing them interact with each other or be able to see how happy they both are. Not even going to lie, that ending was not only hot but might have made me swoon. It added the perfect image in my head to that amazing duet.

I liked the glimpse and tie-in with Tiernan also. It segued into a great introduction of how Elena came to make a cameo in Bad Dreams. This little story packed quite a punch. I wish that it had been longer but that is just me being selfish because I never want books by this author to end.

This author can write some series dream like set your Kindle in fire. I loved seeing these characters and being back in this world.I'm still on the fence with parents. I wanted more resolution there.. One moment I abhor Bryant with the heat of ten thousand suns and then he gives glimpses of a semi decent guy.

I appreciate the tie in with previous characters, especially since those characters were written by other authors. Somehow she still kept the characters true to the show more origials, which can't be an easy feat.

I look forward to Lizzie's story. I'm not sure whether this author will write it. Regardless, if something is written in this world I will read it.
