This brief, illustrated chapter book would be good for readers in 1st - 3rd grade; the short simple chapters will be just right for these emergent readers. The story introduces an unlikely friendship that occurs between a pangolin, a red fox, and a sugar glider. Young readers might be encouraged to research the pangolin and the sugar glider which would make this a great text for educators to use in a text set.

This book introduces three creatures that have something in common. What starts out as a disagreement between Tobin and Bismark quickly changes as Dawn the fox enters the picture. The story promotes a non-violent solution to the problem and shows how friendship can develop under conflicting circumstances.
