This was a fun book!
The juxtaposition of the two women from different eras and their marital difficulties kept my glued to the page. The one ending was obvious, but the other not so much. This really did not detract from the story. It added a small bit of spice.

A wonderfully written biography about Theodore Roosevelt complete with illustrations and actual photos from his life. The book is broken down into "chapters" highlighting the most important features and how they tie in to American history.

Review
Overall I thought it was a very informational book. I especially loved the photos that were used to help illustrate the story I feel like they’re something that can help catch a younger reader’s attention. When show more it comes to this book I would definitely recommend it for intermediate readers.
Classroom Ideas:
1. Discuss what children would do if they met Andrew Jackson.
2. Let children talk about other historical figures they like.
3. Compare Andrew Jackson to other presidents. show less

I really like this book. I recomend this book to everyone. The best thing about this book is I really never knew anything about karate. Now I know more then 3 styles of it, what they're used for, and how they're used. This book has Judo, Jisitsu, Ninjifsu, and plain Karate. The bokk was very short but told alot.
