Seabury Blair

This is a great book for those looking for easier hikes in Oregon. The author has a killer sense of humor. The book is worth a read even if you aren't going to go hiking.

As for the hikes, they are well described and do a good job of covering the state. I am looking forward to getting his Washington edition of the book.

57 day hikes in the Columbia River Gorge, north Mount Hood area, and south Mount Adams area. Includes some routes not usually mentioned in the 100 Hikes series. Light on details, but does include small topo maps and reference to Green Trails or USFS maps.
