This as a very slow paced book about several generations of a family. It was different that I expected. It's more of a family saga than a mystery about a lost girl. It was an enjoyable quick read. The characters were good and likable. I also liked that it is set in the past, which gives you a feel of how it is to live in that time
Graham lived in the old Balmain house for years and was compelled to write the novel of Sophie’s disappearance but still I couldn’t frame out the real show more connection with the author properly with a characters. But the idea and plot is a good one, sound like historical mystery but turn out to be exciting. I still recommend little lost girl to a lovers of mystery show less
