This anthology was amazing. If I didn’t know that the authors had written outside their normal genres from the blurb, I never would’ve guessed. Each story is unique with captivating characters and rich worlds. The plots were engaging and well paced. I loved that each story had a little intro, which gave you an idea of what to expect in the following pages, making it easy to pick and choose what to read. There’s a little something for everyone in this, so don’t let the chance to grab show more this anthology pass you by! show less
I'm going middle of the road for this with 3 stars as I would 5 star some but tbh some I would 2 star.

I do not want to name names so will leave this as a general review. I have read every story in this anthology and I loved the concept, but some stories seemed edited, polished and finished and some didn't. They felt rushed, unedited and incomplete.

The concept and idea of Taking a Chance on love, drew me in and given the opportunity to arc read and overall I did enjoy the book.

These 17 show more authors all came together to raise funds for AIDS healthcare, so grab this as you might find a gem or a new author to read. show less
Narration note...... THATS NOT HOW ND's sound.... seriously, it nothing like the sterotypical Minnesotian or Sara Palin spoof accent. Super distracting and irritating. Also there was absolutely NO transitions between the characters... not even like a 2 second pause to breath?

The intro felt very weird. The intros into each new character was a lot like... here's the character card and everything you need to know about them. There wasn't really any fludity to it, so it came off VERY clunky. show more Also the two romance lines threw me, from the synopsis I thought this was going to be a why choose poly situation. So it was weird to realize there was 4 characters. It made it hard to focus on a pair and root for them.

Also... plot hole: a lesbian that isn't willing to move for a girl... or at least the assumption that she wont is insane. We don't joke about uhauling for no reason.... :/

A quick short story which I listened to when I didn't have much time to spare and didn't want to start a new novel. A well written, naughty, erotic lesbian story that pulls no punches.

I received a free copy of this audiobook either from the author or a promotion or giveaway and am voluntarily writing an honest and unbiased review.
