Wow! My heart is still pounding. Unrequited is the first half of a tense thriller but is also the beginning of a beautiful love story.
King is a prospect for the Fallen Aces MC, he likes the life, he pledges his loyalty to the club and intends to go all the way to earn his Fallen Aces patch. He thought his future was set until he meets Elena.

Elena is an illegal Cuban immigrant, originally, tricked to come to America to take care of her father. She's then forced to be come engaged to Carlos, show more the local head bad guy.
She feels trapped in her situation, her mother needs help back home, she can't work or go back, the only thing she can do_that she can see_ is to agree to Carlos' stipulations and do as he says. Elena is slowly dying inside until she meets a shy biker, and a few kind words and smiles leads to something they've both desperately need.

But are Elena and King ready to face the consequences of their secret affair, and their loyalties come into question, which will they choose.

This is a action packed story, full of drama, intrigue and suspense, a wonderful tale. I knew it was going to be a cliffhanger ending but I still rushed to the end hoping it wasn't...it was (lol) and now I'm desperate to know the rest of their story.
This book is definitely a must read, I highly recommend it.

I loved this story, I'd immediately got drawn into the plot when I started.

Steph had just been dumped by her nob head of a boyfriend so she goes out with her best friend to a bar and meets an unusual guy - Pete/Pistol- and he truly intrigues her.
The thing is even though she sees him more and he gives her more pleasure than she's ever know, she wants more, she wants completion of their assignments, and she doesn't seem to know him any better than when she first met him.

Pistol is a mystery. show more He likes his time with Steph but he has to have control. And he has a past that he wants to keep in the past and away from her. But he may have to open his heart and lose some of his tight control to keep Steph happy.

Great tension and chemistry between these characters. I'm racing straight ahead to read book #2 to continue the story. 5/5

The start of the book is quite full on and extreme, Jane is in her mid to late 20's and married to a complete and utter waste of space, Dylan. You find out straight away that Jane is abused, and to quite an extreme standard, so if scenes of Domestic Violence hit a raw nerve or it's something you can't quite get on board with, in your books, this may shock or upset you. I did feel it was done well, and very emotional. It helped to start the story at Jane's lowest point.

Malice, lives next door show more to Jane, and can't bear to listen to what goes on next door any longer.

One night changes both of their lives forever.

I'm not going to summarise the story anymore as I feel I will probably end up, just spoiling it by telling too much of it. It needs to be unraveled by itself.

We get taken on a journey of recovery but also new fears, and issues are brought to light, and that is for all characters involved, not just Jane.

I really loved Malice's friends/team/brothers, a combination of all really. They are obviously all extremely close, and you can tell that they all have their stories to tell. They have grown up together through incredible hard times, and now work together. You have to wait until the end to really get the gist of what they do and how they are involved, but it's something that you know you want to learn more.

I actually found all the characters in this book were really addictive, and all had stories to tell, but Jane was such an incredible leading character. How on earth she managed to survive everything that was thrown at her, was unbelievable but it just made her such an admirable character. By the end of the book, she had grown so much, I didn't want their story to end.

Malice and Jane, are most definitely a couple you 'need' to see get their happy ever after. Yet they aren't going to find that road easily. The chemistry that kicks in quite early on, is smoldering and you just know they would be so good for each other, if they could let go of what holds them back. Once things change, and they do give in to the desire that seems to sit heavily over them, it gets incredibly steamy. As much as I loved this book I think that I get the impression that Malice kills Dylan and if we continue their story I honestly think it would strain them as a couple all and all a good read.

First of... Holy hot and sexy cover Batman! Yowsa!

I'm a bit on the fence about the story. I loved it, and found it intense, sometimes dark and hard hitting, but at the same time I feel as if there are missing elements. Like little threads here and there not tied off.

Not much is revealed about Malice's job other than a few snippets here and there, and what he said.

Also the whole Dylan situation is really unresolved, Jane and her family, Malice and his dad...

A good story but I would have liked show more it to be a bit longer with less "unfinished" threads.

Still an intense and hot read.
