A couple times a year I read a diet book seeking new ideas about healthy living. The G. I. Diet Clinic by Rick Gallop is an interested book, but doesn't really contain much new information.

The book divides foods into three classic categories: evil, okay, and good. It does a nice job discussing the glycemic index in the first few chapters, but seems to ignore the idea for the rest of the book. Part II of the book contains a classic thirteen week program exploring topics such as eating out show more and staying motivated.

The most interesting aspect of the book is the recipes at the end. I'm trying Vegetable Crumble for supper tomorrow.
