Great idea for a detective that O'Donnell fails to execute. Mici Anholt is a member of a victim services group who is juggling 3 cases at one time. The main case is a murdered hairdresser. His pregnant wife is accused of killing him rather than being a crime victim. Anholt's method of detection is to suspect somebody, get proven wrong, get another suspect, get proven wrong, until only one suspect is left. Christie would have double backed several times and proven one of the vindicated show more suspects was the real killer-and you would nod and wonder how you didn't see it. I love O'Donnell's procedurals, but I'll pass on any further books in this series. show less
i thought this was really good until the last 50 pages. it just kept going. i did check the ending because i couldn't understand where we were going. why did everybody go to the same hospital???? the poor guy who wanted to say something and nobody would give him a piece of paper!
