This is a lovely picture book, focusing on the glamor stars through the ages of Hollywood. Not much prose, mostly lovely stock photos and little blurbs about the movie or the director or the actor.
Photographs from major motion pictures starting in the 1920's and continuing till the early 1940's.
Lawton describes his book as "a selection of the most beautiful photographs to emerge from Hollywood's Golden Years." I believe him. Stunning!
