The Workbench Book: A Craftsman's Guide to Workbenches for Every Type of Woodworking by Scott Landis
Landis provides lots of great ideas, most of which I will never need. But it was so interesting to read them, nonetheless. Most of the illustrations are clear and understandable, but a few are confusing no matter how much I look at them. Full plans for some of the benches are provided.
Even though this book is now 30 years old, there are still tons of good ideas to be found here. I found myself reading much more of the material than I anticipated, rather just skimming and looking for parts that are pertinent to my immediate needs.
