Reviews
For a small group of people, those obsessed with handtool based woodworking and design, this book is the bible. Krenov is a brillant woodworker and an appealling, folksy writer. His stories are genuinely interesting, his woodwork unbelievably beautiful. The combination makes this a wonder book to read, even if you are not into woodworking.
Krenov is not only a genius at design and woodworking technique - he is an excellent author who can describe his craft and the design process to woodworkers and non woodworkers alike. Highly readable and inspiring.
