What happens when utopian Venus encounters an enemy they can't defeat? They ask for help from earth of course.
I've not read a lot of utopian stories, so I found Venus annoyingly perfect, except for the vampires and hysterical female characters. But the story was enjoyable enough for three stars, even if it was a bit odd. Ahh, 1930's sci fi. You never know what you're going to find.
This was a rather bland short story from the 1930's. The characters were flat and the story was very mediocre. Not a bad read, just not a good one either.
A dull and somewhat painful short story. I think I would have given up had it been any longer.
