Gates of Prayer for Shabbat & Weekdays (English): Gender-Inclusive Edition (English and Hebrew Edition) by Chaim Stern
Better than Siddur et Ratzon. Not as good as Mishkan T'filah. I think the thing I dislike the most about this book is that while it is intended to be a Reform siddur, only parts are transliterated while others are not. This causes a barrier for those people like me, who are converts, to feel excluded from the service until we get Hebrew down. I am going to be doing my bar mitzvah officially out of this book but I am doing all my practice out of other siddurim. Plus we are having to add some show more of the prayers because Gates of Prayer does not have my favourite prayers. show less
Shaarei Teshuva / Gates of Repentance: The New Union Prayerbook for the Days of Awe (English and Hebrew Edition) by Chaim Stern
The "red book" used for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. I felt very lost when I was using this book as I felt it was not convert friendly because not everything was in transliteration and congregations go so fast. If there are other versions that someone would recommend please drop me a line.
