This groundbreaking new Haggadah for the Passover Seder from acclaimed poet, translator, and liturgist Marcia Falk, is beautifully designed and illustrated with original watercolor drawings by the author. It will add new depth and meaning to your Seder. This beautiful edition highlights female characters, including Miriam and the midwives Shifrah and Pu’ah, who saved the Hebrew male infants and includes new blessings, poems, psalms, and songs. Be ready for a beautiful new experience.
This edition is Marcia Falk's first translation of The Song of Songs in book form. The illustrations by Barry Moser are very delicate. About a decade later (1990) she published a new edition with a new translation and new illustrations by Barry Moser and added Hebrew with vowels and tropes opposite the English; there is also a lot more (interesting) text before and after the poems.
