The only Jeff Smith volume I have felt worth keeping. (I have had the others at one time or another) As an edition of an earlier railroad hotel chef's book, it has historical interest as well as culinary true value.
Premise was intriguing, but prefer actual recipes instead of Fellow's "receipts" and a few scattered explanations by Wollam.
