Not a lot of new information with lots of white space. The Arial style font is not easy on the eyes and URLs as well as illustrations are in gray rather than black. Short lists of common nicknames and abbreviations are of little value. Almost half the pages are lists of obituary and newspaper resources by state and Canadian province which at first glance appear to be comprehensive. Closer inspection reveals that each obituary list is only FamilySearch Wiki, Cyndi's List, and the author's own show more site The Ancestor Hunt. The newspapers resources list completely repeats the obituary lists while adding GenealogyBank, NewspaperArchive and Newspapers.com. Those three sites require payment. Most of the advice is basic and repetitious. This was independently published and is typical of a vanity press offering. show less
