Book two in the Aeterna Chronicles Series finds Kallum imprisoned in the Quod and seeing visions of the future showing the deaths of those close to him. Never really knowing just who he can trust the silver-eye is distracted from his quest by the confusion that surrounds him.

Whilst book one gave us an interesting introduction to the characters and set up the premise for Kallum’s quest, book 2 seems to give us more of the same but at a slower pace and a more circuitous route.

I would’ve show more liked to see our hero embarking on his inevitable journey a bit sooner which would have improved the pacing but overall this was an enjoyable read that sets up book three nicely by the end. show less

An entertaining Fantasy/Sci-Fi tale that follows Kallum on his show more journey of discovery with a host of mysterious friends and foes to further confuse him. Who can he trust?
