I have no fuckin clue what I just read. It's absurd, it's bizarre, it's chaotic, and I love it! Adventures from a Japanese bookstore where all the staff have crazy identities based on their masks. What even? Who cares? I need more!!!

Further slightly whacky adventures from Honda-san, this time outside of a bookstore, but still in the book world. As it was with the stores, it's also interesting to see how some publishers, wholesalers, etc. work in other countries. I love Honda's sense of humor, even if there are times where, culturally, I don't always "get it." It appears, based on the word "final" on the cover that this is the last Skull-Faced Bookseller comic we see. That's a shame! I'm really hoping Honda continues her show more skeleton adventures in some form, or at the very least starts another manga! show less

I found a skeleton-faced dude working in a bookshop (in the manga/comics section) with all the wacky customers that come by really quirky and enjoyable. I like learning about the behind-the-scenes business of a bookstore. The bit about how *some managers are always stressing workers to smile was fun.

Honda-san works in a Japanese bookstore. This story is a little drier than I expected, but the art is great and, having spent time working in retail, I relate to many of her experiences. Looking forward to the next volume.
