Several interesting recipes, including ones for duck, goose, rabbit, hare, black pudding, haggis... Well, I could do without the haggis. I ought also to mark down for not making clear that the fat poured off of duck and goose is great stuff, NOT to be discarded.
Tchaikovsky's beloved ballet comes to life in this wonderful pop-up book. Pull tabs and flaps are well used and lots of interesting things are waiting to be discovered, although some tiny flaps are difficult to open. The illustrations are beautifully rendered in intricate detail. My favorite spread is that of the Mouse King battle; his mouse army literally pops out of the floor-boards!
If you love spicy Hot food...this is the cookbook for you!

It begins with a description of the different types of chilies and how to prepare them; oils, vinegars, masalas, curries, pastes....

The recipes sound wonderful and vary in style & by region.

There are over 340 recipes from; India, Mexico, Africa, Thailand, the Caribbean and many more countries.

You have to love it & it's oversized color photos!
I use this one all the time for quick, but elegant and tasty meals. Nice photographs although dangerous for the perfectionist. ;-)
