I have been to Maui a couple of times and plan to go again soon. This books offers a few good tips, though a few too many coffee shops. For me the organization made it difficult to keep track of things, though it may work better for a first time visitor. A cautionary note: page 20 talks about driving to Kahakuloa (12 miles) then on to Lahaina (21 miles). Think truly one lane road with blind switchbacks, gravel/dirt surface. Although I could have got by with just my Waze app, Trip Advisor and a few others-- it was still comforting to have my printed Frommers along for the ride. I referenced it a number of times to verify a few things and at one point needed to use the included map when Waze failed me.
