Louis R. Caplan

Louis R. Caplan, MD, was Staff Neurologist at Beth Israel Hospital from 1970 to 1978. From 1978 to 1984 he was Neurologist-in-Chief at the Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago and Professor of Neurology and medicine at the University of Chicago. From 1984 through 1997 he was Neurologists-in-Chief at show more the New England Medical Center in Boston, Professor and Chairman of the Department of Neurology, and Professor of Medicine at Tufts University. In January 1998, he returned to Boston and is now Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School and Senior Physician on the Stroke Service at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. show less
