Shortly thereafter, she decided to try fiction. As she had recently begun reading romance novels, she attempted to recreate the pieces of the genre that appealed to her. She has been awarded a Romance Writers of America RITA Award, and been a five-time RITA finalist. She has also won three Maggies, and numerous awards from the National Federation of Press Women and the NC Press Club. She is also a co-owner of Browning Artworks in Frisco, North Carolina. Her works include Driven to Distraction, Her Passionate Plan B, Her Man Upstairs, and Beckett's Convenient Bride.
Tyrus lives at Anny's home while working at a deep sea study at the university. She knows something is wrong but cannot figure out what but figures if she waits long enough she'll learn his secret and be able to help him. What neither expects is to fall in love.

I loved Anny's craziness! She was so much fun as Tyrus struggled to keep up with her thought processes. I liked that Tyrus was trying to stay faithful to his girlfriend who basically had thrown him over and fight his attraction to show more Anny but it was a lost cause. The more he is around her the harder he falls. This was the perfect read for an autumn day when it is warm enough to sit outside and read. show less
Fate is being auctioned off as a bachelor and he has his secretary agree to be the highest bidder. Now they have to go through with weekend.

I enjoyed this. I laughed and smiled through the whole book. I love when both points-of-view are shown. It is fun to know what each is thinking about the other. It was also sweet as Fate tries to figure out how Sophie got under his skin. I also liked how Sophie learns she is not what her ex-husband told her. Fate and Sophie are made for each other.
Grace has sworn off men. Quinn thinks she is interested in him. They clash from the beginning to the end but love shows the way.

I enjoyed this book. I figured out the misunderstanding and enjoyed watching them figure it out. I liked how Grace showed her independence from her family. What a bunch they were! I also liked the strength that Grace had. To make the changes she did and to forge a place for herself. I liked Quinn and his protectiveness when he realized what led to their show more misunderstanding. Some of the secondary characters were interesting--Edward and Folly. Grace did protect herself emotionally but I understood her reasons and could commiserate with her.

A good book for a quiet winter's evening
