One of Usborne's little books, this one is full of different templates that encourage children readers to doodle or color. The doodling pages have a theme, with a couple of patterns started, and a small sentence that directs students how to complete the pattern. The coloring pages have beautifully geometric patterns and direct students to fill them in with color, and many of the pages combine doodling and coloring directions. I would have loved a book like this when I was a kid. It leaves show more plenty of room for creativity, but provides simple guidelines to get kids started instead of just offering them a blank page. This is a great travel option, and is very well suited for artistic youngsters. show less
This book tells about the different things that is going on in the atmosphere. This is an easy to read book. This a book you can go to any page and start reading and not be lost on what you are reading.

I would definitely use this book in a science classroom. Especially if this was what you were studying and students did not understand what was going. This would be a good book to use as a reenforcement. This book also has different links the students could go visit.

I would definitely give show more this book a rating of 5. I love how this book is written because you can start reading on any page and not be lost on what is going on. On each two page layout the subject matter is the same. Also, each page is a different color. The book I believe would be very interesting to students. In the back of the book, there are charts, definitions, and important facts. I really believe this would help students who are struggling with this subject matter. show less
This book is a mathematical dictionary that gives terms and their definitions from areas like line symmetry and position, to capacity and comparing values. This book gives visual representations of each topic discussed to support learning and demonstrate how they are used. This book is intended for middle-aged or elementary students as it is a quick and easy reference tool for students to use. I would use this book in any unit as it includes information on terms spanning across the whole show more content area of math. For this reason, I would recommend this book to have in any classroom collection because it is so useful for students to reference and review. I believe this book should be available to students in any math classroom. show less
This a great informational tool both for students and teachers. It offers a variety of resources such as internet links and additional tools to expand the information about Earth and Space. It provides definitions and explainations about how things happen on Earth and in Space. This will help readers get a better understanding of the world around them through in-depth detail.

THe Usborne Earth and Space book can provide students information for many activities about the topics. This can be a show more research tool because it provides addtional information that one must search for on the internet. This book would be great for science projects such as creating the solar system or climate control. Teachers can get useful information that he/she can rely to students.

I think this a great resource but, I think a reader would have to have a purpose for reading this text. This is more of a educational tools which provides readers with more knowledge about the planets, solar system, climate, and science and technology.
