I loved this book. It gives the legendary stories for the constellation names. Many have entire myth about several closely located stories, such as the Andromeda group.

The book also provides helps to find important stars and deep space objects. It has a table of 227 named stars.

It is a book that I will simply keep out, readily available and use each night that I watch the sky.

This book is about a Rooster and a horse. The rooster is singing his Cock-a-doodle-doo throughout the book and the horse is narrating the story of his dame who has lost her shoe and his master who has lost his fiddle stick. This story is great for showing kids that they can still do the things they love even without the things they are used to having with them. Reading level is 2.
