Walt Reed

This is a book of color plates of many of my Grandpa Clymer's paintings. The plates are gorgeous, and I like the biographical information at the beginning. Grandpa Clymer died when I was eight, so there are some things I just never learned about him and his technique. This book obviously has a lot of personal meaning for me, but beyond that, I think it really is a nicely done book. The paintings, of course, are superb. :}

Large, heavy, at least one illustration for every artist, beautifully reproduced.

so interesting. illustrators don't get a lot of fame.
