This book is good to use for English Language Learners because they are able to focus on the pictures and understand the pattern of the book. They can see that each different object has its own motion. The simple text allows for them to associate word with text and understand the repetitive pattern of the book. One of the questions that students can focus on while reading the book are whether objects can move on their own. Students can offer their feedback before reading the book and see if show more they still think the same after reading book. After reading the book we can take the descriptions of the book and see first hand how the object move based on pushing and pulling. This is useful for ELL because they are able to interact with the book through reading as well as total physical response. show less
