Read this one for 2007 SRP and cannot speak of it more highly. It's on the controversial list for good reason, but YAs need to learn how cruel the world is at sometime in their life.
I give this three and a half stars for the content and subject matter. The pace was rather slow but I kept reading it anyway to get to the bottom of what was happening in the storyline.

I liked this novel for different reasons......where others may think this book was corny. I thought it was alright and very interesting
