After crashing out of his impending wedding by coming out to his parents, a drunken Amal decides to give himself some breathing room by agreeing to drive a complete stranger across country from Berkeley, California, to Providence, Rhode Island. As he drives, Amal must cope with a looming reunion with his parents at his sister's college graduation on the East Coast while slowly figuring out what is up with his mysterious passenger.
This low-key road trip is driven by the slow but engaging show more revelations about the characters and their evolving relationship. It truly is "less than epic," but I was never bored. show less

Swoon.
Ok, yeah, mature content, and from my almost-golden-years perspective, these boys aren't very mature, but wtf do I know, I only know that I believe in them and love them and am glad they're not my responsibility....

Crap, I really, really love this. I think TJ might be one of the funniest characters ever. Also, the end of each chapter has some of the best random clips. I'm on Chapter 15, and almost want to stop because I don't want to wait like I have to with the other great comic, [b:Teahouse|10387381|Teahouse|Emirain|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1296845897s/10387381.jpg|15291086]. Teahouse is much more beautiful, but really they are very different in tone. Check them both out.
EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS WAS GREAT! Amal and TJ are such adorable dorks, the art is just wonderful, the dialogue is so funny and snappy, and the storyline was well done (and very chill).
