- Architecture critic born in 1923. Ulrich Conrads has not only critically accompanied constructing in Germany for half a century, but also had a positive impact on constructional occurrences through his firsthand action.
From 1957 to 1988 Ulrich Conrads has worked as chief editor of the professional journal "Bauwelt", and from 1981 to 1998 as publisher and chief editor of the bilingual journal "Daidalos". He founded the monographic series "Bauwelt-Fundamente", and from 1960 to 1972 he became well-known through his monthly series "Zum neuen Bauen – in dieser Zeit" aired by the broadcasting station RIAS. - Nationality
