Through a meticulous study of myth, geometry, and topology, Patrick Conty uncovers the origins and meanings of the labyrinth. The book is profusely illustrated. However, this is not a book for the casual reader. Conty will often seem to be off topic but then weaves together disparate components into a unified whole. Those more interested in the connections between quantum physics and the labyrinth will likely be disappointed in that Conty deals with the linkage in a somewhat superficial show more manner. Nonetheless, those interested in a deep study of the labyrinth’s origins and meanings will find this an enlightening and profound read. show less
