The biographical information toward the beginning of the 15 Days of Prayer with Saint Thomas Aquinas was inspiring. Though Aquinas was kept a virtual prisoner for a couple of years by his own family members who wanted him to leave the priesthood, he didn't succumn to family or cultural pressures. Good book for a philsophy or religous reading groups. Loved reading the Aquinas quotations. Great reflection questions at the end of each chapter. Some of the analysis by Vrai and Pinet verged on show more navel gazing; though, I appreciated how much thought and passion they put into their essays. show less
