This snippet shows Grace's funeral from the point of view of the rest of the family. I enjoyed the insight into the rest of the Cahill family. Hamilton Holt is still the best family member besides Amy and Dan - he has a conscience. And frankly in this family that's a damn miracle. I'm curious to see how Astrid Rosenbloom fits into the story. Cousin Ingrid was an imposter? Who's a Vesper? Ooh. Drama. And Hamilton Holt saves the imposter not the Cousin. Woaha. 3 stars.
Ian has such an ego. Amy will be thrilled his crushing on her? Really? Although he is trying to be a better person - lol "growing a conscience from scratch is hard going". Poor Bickerduff (the butler) getting the blame for doing what he's told. I enjoyed this one, although I was disappointed that Ian decides not to visit Amy - I can never quite decide if I like the idea of them together or not. Ian is a total mess - sometimes good, sometimes bad - and I find it hard to decide if I like him show more or not. But I do feel sorry for him and Natalie, growing up with his family must have been tough and being all alone now, even more so. 3.5 stars. show less
Short snippet into the events after Vespers Rising. I was sad that Dan and Amy were fighting over how to deal with things. I have to say I probably would be favouring Amy's approach of planning ahead and training over Dan's there's nothing we can do plan. I liked that all the Cahill kids reunite - I would've liked it to be longer to see more interaction. 3.5 stars.
Woaha, Dan's on fire. And this was very Home Alone. I would've liked to have more of a resolution, but it was an action packed little novella. 3 stars.
