A fine picture dictionary designed for ESL speakers, but also would be useful for some language rehabilitation applications as well. Arranged topically, and covering a wide variety of topics of interest to adult learners of English. (nothing objectionable for children, but the topics are more consistent with interests of an adult audience.)

Though this book is designed for the Russian speaker who is learning English, it can be effectively used by English speakers learning Russian. Since there are no accent marks, you will need to keep a bilingual dictionary handy. You then can mark the accents in this dictionary as you use it. The Russian and the English words are indexed.
