The style of this book flows directly from an intensity, an honesty, and a frankness which is rare. It is a poem, a sutra, a tract, a confession, a revelation, a guide to art and life.
This personal reflection is as impactful as a sutra encountered hands-on.
When you throw a lump of clay on a wheel, the first thing you have to do is center it. After that you can do anything, create anything. But if the clay is not truly centered, any attempt results in deformed, destroyed, useless, shapeless, mess.
This can be translated to your life.
