About the Author

Lawrence J. Gitman received his degrees from Purdue University, the University of Dayton, and the University of Cincinnati. He is currently a professor of finance at San Diego State University, and a prolific author with over forty published articles and several textbooks, including Principles of show more Managerial Finance, Twelfth Edition, and Principles of Managerial Finance, Brief, Fifth Edition. In addition to teaching, Gitman is also a member of the Certified Financial Planner Board and an associate editor of several journals. One of the best textbooks in my MBA program. Very well-written, easy to understand. I high recommend this book for any MBA student, or even those wishing to learn about the concepts and theories of managerial finance.
