Joseph Fielding McConkie

About the Author

Joseph Fielding McConkie has served as a seminary teacher, an LDS chaplain (including a year in Vietnam), the institute director at the University of Washington, a bishop, a stake president, and as a mission president in Scotland. He was a professor of ancient scripture at BYU for 30 years and also show more received his doctorate from BYU. He is the author or co-author of 30 books on gospel subjects. He and his wife Brenda are the parents of nine children and are the grandparents of an ever-increasing clan of grandchildren. show less
