An Invitation to Poetry: A New Favorite Poem Project Anthology by Maggie Dietz

This was the result of a project by poet laureate, Robert Pinsky. He asked people to send in their favorite poems. The poems, accompanied by letters explaining why they are their favorites makes for interesting reading. Some of the poems are familiar, others not so. But the editorial comments gives them all fresh meaning.
