Welcome to the first volume of the collected Flaming Carrot comics, Man of Mystery! Mysteries abound in this volume containing the first three issues of the Flaming Carrot! Who is the Flaming Carrot? Why does he wear a giant carrot mask? Why is his head flaming? Why does this collection place issue #3 between #1 and #2 instead of after them? How... MYSTERIOUS! Not only is Flaming Carrot mysterious, he's also violent, altruistic, and a ladies' man (er... carrot) to boot! UT! If Batman had show more been written by a beat poet on an ether binge, it might have come close to the lunacy within these pages.
Not only does this volume contain the first three issues of one of the most bizarre (yet beloved) comic books of all time, also included are other Flaming Carrot appearances in publications like Anything Goes and Cerberus. Can you take so much MYSTERY? Sure you can. show less

The fourth collected volume of Flaming Carrot comics, Fortune Favors the Bold reprints issues 19 through 24 of the Flaming Carrot's madcap adventures. This volume finds him teaming up with Screwball to take on Easter Island-headed aliens plotting world domination with the help of Star Trek and Dr. Who fans, and includes the return of the Dead Dog! You aren't going to find many graphic novels featuring flaming vegetable masked vigilantes that start with Hemingway references, and maybe that's show more a good thing. If you like your entertainment smart, silly, and downright bizarre, then look no further. show less
Another great collection of Bob Burden's famous flame-topped vigilante, this volume contains issues four through eleven of Flaming Carrot comics. There so much going on in here that it's heard to break it down, but if you're a fan of the Flaming Carrot, or just love surrealist humor in your comic books, this book is virtually indefensible. Be wild and pick it up.
One of the strangest comix series (approx.30 issues in the series) I've ever encountered. Surreal stories, and great catchings of the language. It's way out of print, but I feel it is one of those comics that is worth searching for.
