Short biography
Giuseppe Rava was born in Faenza on July 16th 1963. Since he was a child, he loved history very much, especially military history. That mainly was due to the stories his father Tommaso told him about his experiences in the World War II. Instead, his passion for uniforms comes from his mother Giovanna, a tailor. He is recognized as one of the leading illustrators of military history today.

The good thing is that the illustrations are very nice.

The bad thing is that I found the philological side of the discussion of the Sea Peoples' origins distinctly unimpressive; I find myself wondering if I'd feel the same about the archaeological side if I was in a position to judge.

For the prospective builder of a Sea People miniatures army, though, it's not bad as a painting guide.
