I bought this book along with Storey's Guide to Raising Ducks. Both books have comprehensive information about keeping ducks, but I have to say that I enjoyed Ducks and Geese in Your Backyard more. The writing style is approachable, using gentle humor and more than a few hysterical anecdotes. The book's real strength is its description of duck behavior and what it's like to live with ducks from day to day. The paucity of breed profiles is its main weakness: for instance, there are no show more sections on Cayugas or Buffs. It's really too bad this book is out of print. show less
