Unlike many books on using recycled material, this book really looks at some of the difficult aspects of using recycled material, including safety measures needed to use plastic. As a consequence, many of these projects require a serious investment in power tools and safe equipment. So it is not a book for the beginning jeweler. The directions are very clear and well illustrated with photographs. It has the best explanation of making rivets that I've encountered so far.
