Puppy Clifford learns about baby birds when the blue egg he finds during an Easter egg hunt isn't a painted, hard-boiled one. It's educational and fairly well done for what it is, but it didn't do much for me.

It's a simple tale told well as Clifford watches Emily Elizabeth and her mother plant a garden and then decides to help with some of his own digging.

Illustrator Bob Roper really makes the little red puppy's gentle antics quite adorable.
