Milk And Honey Cooking School: Learning the History of God's People Through Cooking And Eating by Daphna Flegal

This book presents a very detailed guide to presenting a fun and informative program on the different cultures and historical periods that are the setting for the most familiar Bible stories. From Abraham's hospitality to strangers to Jesus' last supper with his disciples the meals and customs of Bible times become windows into these important stories of faith.
The book includes recipes, room and table settings, and a complete script. Participants not only eat food but also watch and in some show more cases participate in the preparation. This program is truly intergenerational with all but the youngest children being able to join in and gain knowledge from this presentation. show less
