I found it in a thrift store, and it was irresistible. The recipes are sweet, and reminiscent of a time when the world was more innocent. It has a couple of recipes, hand written, as bookmarks from a previous owner, which just added to the charm.

The countries represented are British Isles, China, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Scandinavia, and America. There seems to be a real effort to choose items from those places where the ingredients can be easily found, and yet are representative of show more foods from each of those countries. It's a nice little cookbook, and I look forward to trying some of the recipes (but NO English Steak and Kidney Pie, thanks).
