Colorado historian Thomas J. Noel is the author of twenty-five books and a columnist with the Rocky Mountain News. He teaches history at the University of Colorado at Denver, and conducts tours of the highest state for the Colorado Historical Society and the Smithsonian Institution

A great resource for teachers and their own learning about Colorado. Numbers of graphs, photos, and maps are appropriate for 4th grade. Items you won't find anywhere else.
