Very nice descriptions of virtually all the primula species one is likely to encounter. Very satisfying to sit down with this book in one's lap as one dreams of future gardens!
Quite a text heavy book with some gorgeous full page photos of old cottages and their gardens.

Practical approach taken to creating a cottage garden and useful techniques covered. Lists suitable plants and also has a section on plants for wildlife.
