An arrogant ice dancer finds it hard to keep a partner, and an arrogant ice hockey player is frustrated after an accident forces him to give up.

A somewhat predictable romance blossoms after an acrimonious start. But this predictability is brought out of the ordinary by some stunning figure skating, and excellent chemistry between the principal actors.

Recommended.

C+ (Okay).

A figure skater's new partner is a hockey player.

As a sports movie, it's very dumb (even relative to sports movies). As a romantic comedy, it's not bad, although it's very predictable and too light on the "comedy" side of "romantic comedy." Moira Kelly basically makes this entire movie work single-handedly.
