Great reference book, and lots of inspiration for new things to try. I kept saying "you can do THAT?" OK, so maybe some of the techniques could be done easier with a specialized piece of equipment (embroidery, especially), but if that's not in the budget, your regular machine can do the job just fine. Great stuff.
This book is recommended for expert seamstresses who already have some knowledge of sewing techniques. There are many techniques shown that apply both to garment construction and to quilts or home decorating items. The capabilities of modern sewing machines with memory for fancy stitching is used along with legacy techniques for creating vintage items.
