Five boyhoods: Howard Lindsay, Harry Golden, Walt Kelly, William K. Zinsser and John Updike by Martin Levin
A unique contribution to memoirs in that it is a set of short boyhood memories from the early to mid twentieth century. I was intrigued by their descriptions of daily life and growing up in times well before mine. For the right reader, I think this is valuable, but certainly not for everyone
